Festival Overview
Following the successful conclusion of its previous edition, the Singapore International Piano Festival & Competition 2026 will officially take place from 29 July 2026 in Singapore. Organised by EE Piano Studio, the festival is designed to provide young pianists with a comprehensive and immersive artistic platform, combining high-level education, performance practice, international competition, and cultural exchange. Through close mentorship with internationally acclaimed artists, participants are guided to refine technique, deepen musical understanding, and develop artistic individuality. The festival places equal emphasis on artistic growth, performance experience, and global perspective. The 2026 edition features a fully upgraded international faculty, bringing together distinguished performers and educators who are actively shaping today’s international piano scene.

Chun-Chieh Yen

One of the most distinctive pianists of his generation, Chun-Chieh Yen enjoys an active international career as a performer and educator across Europe, the United States, and Asia. He has appeared with leading orchestras and collaborated with renowned conductors on major concert stages worldwide. Highly respected for his artistic depth and creative vision, Yen is known for landmark recital projects, world-premiere recordings, and interdisciplinary collaborations that connect music with literature and multimedia. He is Professor of Piano at National Taiwan Normal University and the founder of the International Maestro Piano Festival & Competition, with students achieving top prizes in major international competitions.

Radostin Kirchev

Born in Bulgaria, Radostin Kirchev is a distinguished pianist and educator with a strong European classical tradition. A graduate with honours from the National Academy of Music “Prof. Pantcho Vladigerov” in Sofia, he has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe and Asia. Based in Singapore since 2012, Kirchev is widely recognised for his pedagogical excellence. His students have received awards in numerous national and international competitions across Singapore, Europe, the United States, and Asia. He remains active as a performer and has appeared as a soloist at major venues including Victoria Concert Hall.

1. One-to-One Masterclasses
All masterclasses will be held at Bechstein Music World. Participants receive individual 40-minute sessions with international artists, focusing on technique, musical interpretation, and personal artistic development through direct, in-depth guidance.
2. Concerts & Performance Practice
The festival includes:
  • A Gala Master Concert, allowing participants to experience world-class performance at close range
  • A Student Evening Concert, providing valuable stage exposure and real concert experience
3. International Piano Competition
The competition will take place at Singapore Conference Hall, one of Singapore’s premier acoustic venues.
  • Maximum performance time: 10 minutes per participant
  • Jury panel: 9 professional judges
  • Evaluation based on international competition standards
4. Cultural & Academic Immersion
The programme also integrates cultural and academic experiences, including:
  • Visit to National University of Singapore (NUS)
  • Gardens by the Bay
  • S.E.A. Aquarium
  • Universal Studios Singapore
These activities extend artistic inspiration beyond the classroom and concert hall.

Registration Process
  1. Online registration via official website or QR code
  2. Faculty preference selection (subject to availability)
  3. Confirmation and payment upon approval by the organising committee
Important Information
  • Each masterclass session is 40 minutes
  • Late arrivals exceeding 15 minutes will result in forfeiture without refund
  • Photography and videography may be used for official promotional purposes
  • Insurance coverage is provided for all participants and accompanying parents
Refund Policy
  • More than 90 days before event: 80% refund
  • 60–89 days before event: 50% refund
  • 30–59 days before event: 20% refund
  • Within 30 days or after event commencement: No refund
Invoice Information
All invoices are issued in English under “Training Fee”, addressed only to the participant, guardian, or educational institution.
